Albergo Del Teatro is a hidden gem in a beautiful town. The hotel is perfectly located, within easy walking distance of the main squares and trails into the hills. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely view of the hills and charming details throughout. The highlight of the breakfast is the selection of delicious home-made cakes that are simply delightful.

The staff was absolutely delightful, the hotel intimate, quiet, and beautiful, and our room had a breathtaking view of the Umbrian countryside.Lovely breakfasts with pastries prepared inhouse, fresh coffee, yoghurt, etc. served on a fabulous terrace. Located in the historic center of Spello, an utterly charming small hill town. We went by car, and the hotel provided parking, which is unusual in the historic centers of Italian hill towns. Excellent restaurant just up the street, with a delightful terrace and same views as we enjoyed from the hotel. Great location from which to explore Todi, Montefalco, Perugia, etc., and the local wines (reds AND the whites!) are delicious.

We really loved our stay in spello at this great value for money hotel.The staff were excellent and the breakfasts good.The breakfast room had a large balconey with impressive views overlooking the umbrian countryside.For a really good restuarant go to Osteria De Dada at very reasonable prices.

The breakfast selection was decent with some variety of fruits, pastries, and yogurt. the location of the hotel was close to some main tourist attractions and popular restaurants. the room was clean and tidy with fresh towels provided daily.

The noise from the outside traffic kept me up at night, making it hard to sleep. the lack of any toiletries in the room was a bit inconvenient.

Parking not easy . 1st floor rooms have practically no sight on the wonderful landscape around Spello, so ask for a room on 2nd floor if you are somewhat claustrophobic.

The breakfast (included in the rate when we stayed) was fantastic. Croissants and usually another homemade baked good like a coffee cake, fruit or mixed fruit, yogurt, and juice and cappucino (or I had most delicious hot chocolate). Staff delivered warm croissants and drinks to the table. View from the breakfast patio was out of this world -- a wonderful panorama over the hills and valleys. Rooms were spacious and very clean.

The overall hotel experience was a delight (and the town of Spello was one of the highlights of our trip). The hotel hallways were a bit dimly lit, but that was an extremely minor blip in a wonderful stay.

During our Easter stay, we were impressed by the breakfast served on a terrace with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-furnished, with a clean and comfortable bed. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the small town on foot and enjoying the local flower festival.

The shower in our room took a while to produce warm water, and the water pressure was low. It was difficult to regulate the temperature of the water, resulting in an uncomfortable showering experience.
